DROP-IN WORKSHOP CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Date: September 1 - September 10
Location: Gamle Munch, Prosjektrommet
Opening hours:
11.00 - 17.00
The curators have for this year's festival put together a drop-in workshop for children, youth and audience of all ages. The workshop follows the theme of the festival - collection and categorisation - and a large archive of photos will be available for participants to collect and compile into their own photobook. The participants will be challenged into putting together their own image archive through the photo book, becoming aware of their own role and power in assembling an archive with its own "truths" and meanings.
The workshop acts as a pop in, where participants choose how long they want to spend creating their book, and everyone brings their final result home.
Free entry/participation.
Schools are welcome to book slots for participation between Mon-Fri. Contact dagligleder@fffotografer.no if your school / class is interested.
The workshop is generously supported by Sparebankstiftelsen DnB and Arts Council Norway.
