In the spring of 2022, FFO hosted a workshop for kids where artist & communicator Peter Dean created a project aimed at kids aged 10-13 at Møllergata skole. The project came about in the form of a photobook workshop in three parts where the kids were each loaned an iPad to photograph their neighbourhood with, which they later edited into individual photobooks. 

The theme for the project was neighbourhood (nabolag), which had to do with the larger theme of the festival («Get out!») and the interplay between people and their local environments in cities.

The pupils at Møllergata skole produced 120 different books which were all exhibited at the book fair during Fotobokfestival Oslo 2022 in their own gymnasium. In addition, nine selected books were displayed on large banners on construction fencing in a local park.
