This year FFO collaborates with the Inaugural Hong Kong Photobook Festival. The shortlisted photobook dummies will be shown between 19-22 August at the Fotogalleriet.
The inaugural Hong Kong Photobook Festival aims to connect photographers, artists, and publishers from all over the world. It also supports emerging artists to showcase their works in the field of contemporary photography. The festival highlight is Hong Kong Photobook Dummy Award, aiming at supporting emerging artists and providing them with the opportunities to showcase their works in international festivals. This year, more than 30 photobook dummies from 12 countries were sent to Hong Kong Photobook Dummy Award, and finally, 12 photobook dummies were shortlisted.

The Man Who Attends to the Times by Yim Sui-fong
The Dayspring of Eternity by Lau Chi-chung
Hong Kong Photobook Festival is organized by Lumenvisum (www.lumenvisum.org).
Founded by four veteran photographers in 2007, Lumenvisum is a non-profit art organization in Hong Kong focusing on photography art and culture. Lumenvisum devotes itself to promoting the artistic and cultural development of photography via exhibitions, courses, and workshops. The organization has curated so far approximately one hundred exhibitions and has organized diverse educational programs, talks, and exchange programs with various groups and organizations.
